ColdFire PCM stuff moved to target tree to avoid a complicated mess when adding samplerate switching. The button scan enabling seems stable and I've been using it without any difficulties but if the interrupts hiccup it could leave them unresponsive. Clearing the GPI0 interrupts before enabling them seems to prevent any difficulties.
